Isaac Ilyich Levitan (on Russian: Исаак Ильич Левитан, 1860 – 1900) – Russian artist, master of “mood landscape”. Academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts (on Russian: Императорская Академия художеств – ИАХ ,1898).

The Imperial Academy of Arts is a higher educational institution in the field of fine arts of the Russian Empire, which existed from 1757 until its abolition in 1918 by the government of the Russian Soviet Republic.
